What are Neuromodulators?

Neuromodulators, more commonly known as Botox, Jeuveau and Xeomin, are toxins that are used to temporarily paralyze certain muscles, preventing and reducing fine lines and wrinkles. It is the first and only treatment FDA-approved to temporarily make moderate to severe frown lines, crow’s feet and forehead lines look better in adults. So you look like you, only with less noticeable facial lines.

While we use these toxins cosmetically, they also have many medical uses such as for migraines, hyperhidrosis, over active bladders and more.

Cosmetically, Botox can be used in different areas of the face including forehead, around eyes for the treatment of “crow’s feet”, at the top of the nose for the treatment of “bunny lines”, in the chin for dimpling, above the top lip for a lip flip (top lip appears fuller), for clients that have a natural frown when relaxed and for “gummy” smiles.

Treatments take about 10 minutes and results last 3-5 months with no to little downtime. A full consultation is done prior to injecting to assess how much product your injector recommends. Consultations are free here at Hideout, so make your appointment today!
