What is Restorative Therapy with Plasma?
Plasma is an autologous and derived from your own blood which is then used to help promote healing, collagen and elastin stimulation and tightens and smooths the skin. The procedure is done by drawing the clients blood, spinning it down in a centrifuge to separate the plasma from the rest of the blood, then drawn out to be used on the client. It can be microneedled in and/or injected as a liquid or it can be turned into an autologous filler and injected as such. This amazing treatment can be done to varies areas and parts of the body.
Benefits of Plasma
Plasma stimulates collagen and elastin production which thickens and tightens thinning skin, effectively smoothing wrinkles and fine lines. Plasma also speeds up healing and recovery time. Because it boosts collagen, it’s also a great treatment for improving overall skin texture and tone. It’s particularly good for people who suffer from rosacea or acne. It can also be used on the scalp to help restore hair growth to thinning areas.
Different Plasma Treatments
Microneedled: microneedling uses a “glide” when being performed. Plasma can replace the normal glide that is used to further the clients results.
Injected as Liquid: mostly used for the under eye area or scalp when that is the only area being targeted – helps to brighten dark circles under eyes and restore hair growth on the scalp.
Injected as Filler: It is injected similar to how fillers are injected and can be done all over the body.
